I woke up to a shocking morning as I have been hearing people whispering around the room. No, not a ghost or something like that, but my mom and the helper once again. They were fixing, cleaning, and throwing away things from one of my cabinets packed with so many intriguing things that even my dad is excited to see what's in there. It is because I haven't cleaned it before and it's full of my old things packed in a plastic.
As I have said on my earlier entries, I am the type of person who can't let go of anything easily. Like if I went to a theme park, I would probably keep something that would remind me of my moments there. Of course, there would be pictures but I still want to keep something else that would remind me of good times.
And I still have those things; things that may seem trash to other people. But finally, I had let some of them go. The favorite ones stayed though even if it doesn't fit me anymore or I don't get to use it like before. Hahaha.

It's all a dream -- no, a nightmare!
Last night, I slept in another room because the helper will remove the curtains and clean the windows early in the morning. And if you really know me, I usually wake up just in time for lunch.
It was raining when I woke up and so my body feels that I need to sleep more and enjoy the cool weather. But... do you know the feeling when it feels like you have been sleeping for a long time and just want to get up? Well, I was torn between those two choices. So, I planned to do both. Get up and go to my room and sleep again.
As I am about to go to my room, I saw the helper and my mom still inside. Apparently, my mom asked the helper to clean the whole room instead. And I was shocked to the point of forgetting what I had earlier planned to do. So now, I just finished cleaning up my own room, throwing away all the things that I didn't like anymore and putting the things I still like back to the cabinets. Oh what a day!

My Firsts.
Do you remember your firsts? The first time you walked? The first time you talked? The first time you hold someone's hand? Or the first time you slipped? Hahaha.
After taking an online survey about my firsts, I realized that I have already forgotten some of the first times I had. I may have forgotten those first things but I know those memories (happy or not) will always be kept in a special place.

Changes.
Things are different now.
There were changes.
Changes that affects life.
It's really hard to pretend. Pretend that you're okay. Pretend that you're happy. Pretend that you're touching other people's lives. When you're really not. Why do people have to pretend? What's in it for them? Are they really happy? Of course not. They just want to hide. Hide in a mask, that is. A mask that is full of mysteries. They may think it would help them in any way that it could.
You may really show people you're happy outside. But deep inside, you're not. The pain is there. Rejection maybe, or fear of losing the person you love. It's hard... It's hard to let go. It's hard to let go of that pain. When the pain is the only reason that makes you happy. It makes you forget about your other problems even for just a moment.

Get outta my head!
Last song syndrome is the last song you've heard and got stuck in your head. My sister always gets this syndrome. And worst, not only the song gets stick to her head but also the dance movements. Sometimes, I really get annoyed when she starts singing when I am around and bugs me to join her as well. Just like the Kung Fu Panda theme song, it was her longest LSS ever. Every time she hears the song being played, she will sing it all over again and again. I think it was her strategy to get me out of her room. Hahaha.
Finally, she's done with her Kung Fu Panda LSS. But now, she's stuck with the "Crank That Soulja Boy" song. She even knows how the choreography of the dance goes. I got home one day when she hurriedly went to my room and told me that she's done with the Kung Fu Panda song and is now into that Soulja Boy song. And yes, not only did she sing the song but she also showed me the dance movements.
Hey, maybe I got sick of all her last song (and dance) syndromes, that when I got up this morning, I was singing (in my head)... "Get outta my head...outta my...outta my head!"

Goodnight.
We hear people tell us that the reason we could not sleep is that we are thinking of things:
1. Things to do the next day
2. Solutions to your current problems
3. Reasons why you're stressed and how to reduce stress
Well, I know we all have experienced this kind of feeling.
But what do you do when you cannot sleep? How can you erase all the things you have been thinking (for the night)?
I know it's a bit weird but sometimes I actually think on how I could not think when I am about to sleep. Hahaha. But yes, I end up thinking again. I have somehow counted as many sheep as I could but still can't fall asleep... just like what you see on the television.
I have tried different ways to counter this problem:
1. Stay away from caffeine as this might not help you fall asleep.
2. Create your own sleepy schedule. I know this might be a bit hard but when you get the rhythm, it might just work out well. Try to follow a certain time everyday on what time you have to sleep.
3. Listen to a relaxing music. I find this very helpful when I can't sleep. It helps me forget about the things I have on my mind.
4. Get up and do something boring until you fall asleep.
5. Take a hot bath before you sleep.
However, people have different ways on how they would sleep well. My solutions might not work out for everyone.

Letting Go Takes Time.
It's hard to let go of one thing that has been attached to you, regardless of how long it has been with you.
And no, this is not always about letting go of your loved ones. It is also about the things you love and have been with. I am the kind of person who always keeps whatever is given to me, what I have bought, or simply the things that may remind me of events that took place. It is hard for me to throw away these things that I value. As long as I have space to keep those things, I would keep it.
Take for example, this shoe that I bought in Hong Kong. I loved it the very first time I saw it. It has been with me for some time. At that time, I got the shoe in a bigger size and now it still fits me.
The only problem is the quality of the shoe. Since I have been using it as much as I could, the shoe had been worn out. My mom and sister had been telling me to throw it away. My mom even bought me a new one, a nicer shoe, which I love too. But you know, I can't just throw the old one away.
In time, I guess...but not anytime soon.

Want a massage?
I previously posted on my other entry that I love getting a massage when I am stressed out. But then, I figured that it is not only when I am tired that I love getting a massage. I love it as much as I love chocolates. Hmm, how about a chocolate massage? Hahaha.
I love the feeling of being sleepy after the massage. It makes you go lazy and just want to sleep the whole day and enjoy the cool breeze of your room. I love it especially when they massage my head, it feels really nice. Hey, getting a massage is really a good deal. Go try it, surely you'll love it!

Don't Lie.
Liars are persons who tell lies. I know we all have encountered people like this. Heck, all of us may have been told someone a lie.
I remember this story about a boy who always tricks his neighbor that there's a wolf coming (or something like that). Every night he would trick his neighbors that a wolf is coming so the people end up packing their things or get ready to fight the wolf and yes, for consecutive nights, they end up getting angry at the boy for all his lies. Until one night, he really did see a wolf. After telling all the people about it, the people did not listen to him anymore and assumed that the boy is telling them another lie. Too bad, I just can't remember what happened next to the story. Hahaha.
But the moral of the story is that you should not tell a lie because there might come a time that if you're already telling the truth, people might not believe you anymore.

Are you loyal to a particular brand?
When going shopping, some people would first go to their favorite stores to check out what's new and some people likes going to the first store they would see when they enter the mall. Well, I belong to the group where I would check out my favorite stores first before exploring the other stores on their new arrivals.
I usually stay at my favorite stores for at least an hour fitting all the new arrivals and deciding on which clothes to buy. Sames goes for buying other things such as: bags, make up, shoes and techie gadgets.
There's this one store I visit often that the sales ladies already know the type of clothes I want and just bring whatever is new at the fitting room. And yes, I end up buying a lot of clothes. You know, it's hard to decide on which to get now and which to get later that I end up buying all that I want. Hahaha.

Time to say goodbye...
to stress.
Stress occurs when the body as a whole starts to suffer as a result of a stressful situation. I do get stress from work or when I encounter problems. So I have come up with my top 6 favorite things to do to say bye bye to stress.
Sleep - I love sleeping. It is so nice to sleep after a long day or even when you're bored. I loved it especially when it is raining. What a relaxing feeling!
Take a break - Have a KitKat! Haha. Seriously, you should take a break to get your energy back. You can do other things that would make you happy or you can just eat. I would probably eat when I take a break. When I am stressed, I just love munching on chips and chocolates.
Reinvent - Have a makeover. Girls love to spend some time in a salon to get their hair and nails done. I think it is a nice way to relax after a very stressful day. Pamper time, y'all!
Enjoy - Go out! Enjoy the things you love to do: playing sports, watching television, writing articles for your blog, go on a road trip with friends, going to the mall, go to clubs with friends, or go to your favorite coffee shop to unwind.
Shop - Most girls love shopping for anything... nice. Enough said.
Spa - Going to the spa or having a home massage is a great way to say bye bye to stress. I love getting a massage at home. I think that it is much better than going to a spa. It is because when you're getting a massage at home, you can sleep all you want even after the massage is over. You don't need to get up and go home. The feeling of being sleepy will be gone once you drive yourself home after getting some relaxation.

The Kids' World.
I have heard older people talk about cartoons nowadays -- how some are really weird looking and kind of weird concepts too, how anime is really popular, and the usual superhero cartoons showcasing their different kinds of superpowers to save the people and the world.
Well, you know that Disney Cartoons have been airing for a long time. But it is kind of weird when all the main animal characters of Mickey Mouse and friends can talk while their pets can't. Same goes with Winnie the Pooh and this girl (I forgot the name though). I was browsing the channels and was looking for something good to watch when I got a glimpse of this cartoon. The girl could talk to the main animal characters while they all could not communicate with their pet dog.
We all know why the cartoons exist for the kids... and yes, for the adults too. It is because they entertain us and teach us good ethics / principles / morals through telling a story in an animated way. They know that the kids would more likely to listen and watch well if they are being educated through animations.
Not only that, but they also teach us different languages and cultures from different countries. For example, Dora the Explorer. In this show, they teach us basic Spanish language and good ethics. Sometimes I would hear some kids say words and phrases they got from watching shows like this. I remembered my nephew once asked me what the meaning of Ni Hao Ma. He got the phrase from this Chinese cartoons, something like Dora (or was it Dora?), and forgot what it meant in English. You know how kids just love to imitate people and yes, characters from shows.
It's true we can get a lot of things from watching cartoons. Although I must admit that watching too much of it would be no good. My sister's kids love watching all day -- and i mean it, all day long! It's what they look for when they wake up till they go to sleep and even when they're eating. It would take a long time for you to tell them to eat or to do something else.
Hey, but don't get me wrong. I totally love cartoons! One of my favorites would includes Care Bears. They're just so cool and cuddly.
